Hello to all of you,

I am very excited for the grand opening of Nefistanbul.

One of my best friends, Sedat, was a guest in my place for dinner last week and when we were talking about the dishes I prepared, he put the idea in my mind of sharing all these experiences through a food blog with other people. I love cooking for friends, for parties, for myself, for no reason...Finally, after a short brainstorming we came up with the concept and the name and that's how Nefistanbul was born.

Let me explain you the name for a second; Nefis means delicious and Istanbul means the most beautiful city in the world :)

Having lived in the United States more than a decade and tasted different cuisines from all around the world, I do believe that I have enough knowledge to make a contribution to the world of food blogs.

From now on, every week, I will be writing about either recipes I tried or the new interesting ones that I discovered in variety gourmet restaurants.

I am sincerely happy about this project so let the games begin!!
